Starbucks should use a POS (point-of-sale) kiosk

This would allow picky customers like me to order up their favorite drink with all the extras simply by sliding a card. The main purpose here is so impatient people don’t have to speak out their drink order only to have the barista screw it up. It also helps cut down on those times where the barista asks you to repeat your order a million times.

Another thing to keep in mind is how many Starbucks locations have incomplete menus. The kiosk would allow all Starbucks locations to have an easily updated list of drink options for people to look through. Customers would also have a better idea of how creative they can get with their drinks, which could possibly get annoying to the baristas.

Starbucks should use LED menus

I swear each Starbucks I go to has a different menu of lattes and cappuccinos for me to choose. Can you order a Pumpkin Spice Latte if it’s not on the menu, yes but why isn’t it on the menu then?

If Starbucks used LED menus they could keep them up-to-date and remotely control them over the internet.

Starbucks should make a coffee card that attaches to your key chain

Time and time again..I end up mis placing my card in one jacket pocket or another or forget to put it back into my wallet and end up loosing it. I believe it was Mastercard came out with the small credit card that attaches to your key chain…that you can swipe at the counter. I thought it would be a great idea for your company to do the same..so forgetful people like me wont loose their cards. Since I drive to Starbucks everyday, I always have my keys with me!! Yes..I know you can register your cards…yada yada yada! lol

Starbucks should provide free web access

Interesting. I didn’t know they charge for WIFI service in their stores. That sucks, frankly.

I live in Portsmouth, VA, near Norfolk & Virginia Beach. Our little city doesn’t have a Starbucks, but they just announced that they’ll be building one about five blocks from where I live. Perhaps I’d go if the WIFI was free. As it is, I can go to the DAILY GRIND or STARBOARDS or the OLDE TOWNE CAFE and get wifi with my coffee. If Starbucks wants to supply me daily caffeine, they’ll likely have to do more than charge 4 bucks for the coffee and another whatever for the Internet.

Starbucks should provide free web access

Today people are able to access the web from more places on more devices. Cities have begun planning on how to blanket their cities as giant free wi-fi areas. So why does Starbucks continue to charge its customers for internet access? Especially when I can go over to a little local independent spot that typically provide free Internet service? Starbucks comes out looking like antiquated, money sucking bullies on every block that say they want to foster community – but instead look to exploit it every way possible.
Hey Starbucks, lighten up and give us a free hot spot with that 4 dollar hot caffe’ latte.
